Indian Cultural Experience  with Bollywood Fun

Program 1

Uplifting, engaging and interactive Indian cultural presentation starts with a group Bollywood dance. Children are introduced to India, few interesting facts and lifestyle. Roushini teaches the group simple and fun Bollywood dance moves followed by children dressing-up using variety of colourful saris while Roushini paints their forehead with bindi/Tikka. The session finishes with children sharing what they enjoyed the most during the session. The session finishes with group Bollywood dance.
Boys and girls are successfully involved. This session can be tailor-made to match what children are currently learning.

Holi Festival with Colour Splash

Program 2

Holi is the most loved Indian cultural festival celebration. Multicultural presentation that tells the story as why we celebrate  Indian festival of colours - Holi. Children will assist Roushini to act out one of her popular Holi story.The interactive, fun and energetic drama play tells a wonderful story about humans and animals working together to end the long drought. What happened when the rain came? How colour was created? Why Indian's splash colours to celebrate the festival.
This interactive, enteratining and educational presentation provides better understand about Indian culture and traditional celebration, inspires children to enjoy art of story telling, use their imaginative and creative skills to act, share, give to others, eat more fruit and vegetables and be water wise.
It also communicates the message about the importance of people and animals working together. With lots of dancing, the show finishes with colour hunt and colour splash on Roushini and each other. Apart from multicultural learning, this presentation also covers many areas relating to environment.
Western world has adopted Holi colour splash concept to enjoy colour run.

Diwali Festival Drama & Dance

Program 3

Diwali is the most popular Indian cultural festival celebration. The presentation tells the story as why we celebrate legendary Indian festival of lights - Diwali/Deepawali. Children will assist Roushini to act out a popular Diwali story.The interactive, fun and energetic drama play tells a wonderful story about a royal family. Why a prince was sent to live in the jungle? Who went to live in the jungle with him? What happened while they were in the jungle? Who helped them? What happened when they returned to the kingdom?
 This interactive, enteratining and educational presentation provides better understand about Indian culture and traditional celebration, inspires children to enjoy the art of story telling, use their imaginative and creative skills to act, have sense of belonging, loving and caring for their family, forgiveness and gratitude.
 Boys and girls Prep to Y 6 are sccessfully involved.

Holiday to India Prep - Y2

Pack your bags, get your tickets and passport ready, we are going for a fun holiday to India. This show is an all rounder multicultural experience.  It includes all areas of learning and is fun, interactive, entertaining and educational. With lots of dancing and drama,children are continuously involved and captivated. The presentation incorporates topics about sharing, caring, lanugage, colours, counting, food, family values and lots more.  As a finale, everyone enjoys dress-up and bindi painting. Invite the whole family and enjoy a fun holiday to India.
